Hello everybody, I've preformed an upgrade from PCS 7 V7.1 SP3 to PCS 7 V8 upd 1. With the normal documentation this went pretty well. I’ve got one mayor problem: The time synchronization on the process bus does not work! We have the following hardware configuration: 3 (redundant) servers with CP 1623 (Standby servers are offline) 1 ES with CP 1613 We have the following Windows configuration: 3 (redundant) servers with server 2008 (Standby servers are offline, containing the old configuration: server 2003) 1 ES with Windows 7This hardware configuration hasn’t been changed during the upgrade and the old configuration worked proper. There is something strange (within the new server configuration) going on in WinCC, when we look in WinCC by Time Synchronization and we uncheck “Display symbolic name of access point” the pull down menu does not show the CP 1623. Windows Network connections and SIMATIC Configuration Console do recognize the CP 1623. When we look into the old configuration (server 2003 and PCS 7 V7.1), WinCC Time Synchronization also shows the CP 1623. I’ve attached some screenshots for explonation. Does somebody recognizes this problem or knows how WinCC collect this data for the pull down menu? Or has any idea? Thanks in advance!
