PCS 7 with SAP through OPC

Once I connected WinCC with SAP using the AddOn "SAP/PM" from the Siemens Competence Center in Mannheim (Germany). This AddOn enables WinCC to send data to SAP. ragards Cookie

Ganesan Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	Dear April, Browsing the ST PCS 7 catalog, I found that WinCC Connectivity pack is in earlier verion (Version 6). I can see OpenPCS7 for performing the same functions of OPC DA/HDA/XML server and OLE-DB. Can OpenPCS7 and Connectivity pack be used interchangeably? Pls guide. Ganesan

April Posts: 1776 Rating: (95)	Hi, Connectivity pack and Open PCS 7 may be both useble. See FAQ http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26557315 Open Pcs 7 is integrated in PCS 7 and may have some more integration functions
