PCS7 Backup Missed

Only 3 months old backup is available. How to updated the old backup with the running program at the AS and SCADA object at Servers?

Can you please confirm the differece between 3 month old backup and running backup from your client? I mean in between of that time Period they changed anything in Program? Saravana kumar In our customer place, ES PC got corrupted completly. There are severval ways to recover Harddisk data in market. you can try such option but possiblilty to retrieve all data is less. But still you can check. Saravana kumar How to updated the old backup with the running program at the AS and SCADA object at Servers? you have to do all the chages Manually by comparing the online/offline CFC Charts. For that you need to have License of Version Cross Manager. Also you have to necessary setting as per the attached picture. Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	Hello, it is difficult task because you have missed offline latest program. now online program while upload you will get only blocks (not CFC, SFC) so here the question is how can you compare program. I think you have to develop program again. Regards

Prakash online Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi Mr. Saravana Kumar, 'Version Cross manager' will serve the purpose comparing Online/offline charts, library, HW config [ like we have 'compare online/offline blocks' in S7.] But, I believe this tool is not available in PCS7, by defaut. This tool is contained in ' Simatic PCS7 Engineering Upgrade packages'. These packages are those which are available for upgrading PCS7 projects.
