hello Rawat; To add to Sidney's post, here are links to some of the manuals you could look at for starters: PCS 7 v. 7.0 SP1 first steps: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/27002708 PCS 7 v. 7.0 getting Started, part 1: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24451328 PCS 7 v. 7.0 getting Started, part 2: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24450441 PCS 7 v. 7.0 Libraries: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24451666 If you need more docs, look at the product Support link at the top of the forum page, and do a Search on PCS 7 v. 7.0; you could be overwhelmed by the amount! By the way, as a personnal opinion, moving from Step 7 to PCS 7 is not an entirely easy step; concepts and implementation are very different in the two worlds, even if the programming environment mayappear similar.I strongly recommend some basic training before attempting a project on PCS 7, either from Siemens (or any other certified trainingfacility)or someone you know who has done this before. You will recoup the investment immediately simply by not commiting basic mistakes that will cost you much time of recovery. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
