In the documentation this is described as info generated for SimaticIT. Does anyone know what you get when you are marking this? A file with block info etc? Something that can be useful even if you are not using SimaticIT. Regards, ER_VT

The option can only be set when the "Operator C and M possible" check box is activated. Note: In the default setting, the column is hidden since this information is not normally used in PCS 7. Use the menu command Options > Settings > Visible Columns to display the column in the process object view. I think there are no many information about that because PCS7 doesn't use. Check box means information will be available for SIMATIC IT platform. Regards

They are specialized in ERP/MES/MRP software. You can have a glimpse of their suite ofproducts on the SimaticIT portal: https://www.automation.siemens.com/mes/simatic-it/html_76/produkte/produkte_mes.htm I believe their Production Suite should be of special interest to us, as it bridges level 2 (plant-floor control and monitoring) to level 3 (materialsrequirements planning, manufacturing ressources planning). When you decide to use their products, and your basis system is PCS 7, you canset the special attributes for them in your tags; this allows them to extract therequired data for management databases and evaluation. In here is a filter for MES relevant tags only. So it's only forSimaticIT
