PCS7 OS download Erro

widdy Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I was doing some changes in PCS7 Version 6.1. Compiled and Downloaded the AS. I also had to compile the OS. But when I wanted to download the Entire OS to the Master andStandby Serversit couldn't be downloaded and popped up the following error message: "s7omwinx,Entire loading is not possible at the moment,because the OS is already in use by another ES" There is no other ES on the Network. Could someone out there please help me on how to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance Widdy

Niranjan Prasad Posts: 691 Rating: (37)	One Help Please Run "Reset_WinCC.vbs" which will be in bin folder of your WinCC Installation Path Or Start->Run Then type "reset_wincc.vbs" Wait for sometime to get a messgae Then Press OK and then Try If Then also problem exists Restart the PC

widdy Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the response. However, I tried to run reset_wincc.vbs both on the ES and the Master Server and restarted the machines as per your giude but the problem still exists. It has continued to pop up the same error message. Thanks. Widdy

LCK files get created when the project is opened and deleted when the project is closed. If during a download, where the project gets opened remotely, the newtowrk connection 'breaks' then the LCK file won't get deleted. So delete any .LCK files in the project on both the ES and remote workstation (OS). cabreytj

widdy Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, Just one quick clarifications. I have found that there are file .LCK and those ending with .lck Do I need to delete even those .lck (small leters) as well or it is just .LCK(Capital letters) Thanks
