Hi dilipan_c, I am curious to know how you triggered the 7BH01 with PLCSIM? The Execute/Trigger Error OB/Hardware Interrupt (OB40-OB47)function in the PLCSIM is used toexecute the program resident in OB40-47 just like the hardware interrupt will trigger the execution in a real PLC. In other words you can test the program inside the OB but you cannot create the trigger itselfsince physically the digital input does not exist when you use PLCSIM. Regards

dilipan_c Posts: 34 Rating: (2)	hi phantom I typed the module address and pointer of6ES7321 7BH01 0AB0inExecute/Trigger Error OB/Hardware Interrupt (OB40-OB47) When i trigger that OB40 is calling, but the alarm in Wincc is not coming for all the motor block and valve block alarms are coming This one i require becoz we are having Software FAT with Simulation only Regards dilipan

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Dilipan, I am afraid you cannot test this with PLCSIM... The way it works is, whenever there is an interruptthe IM_DRV (FB90)block is processed (in OB1 and OB40). IM_DRV reads the message buffer in the IM and transfers it tothe ALARM_8P and this in turn triggers a message in the OS. With PLCSIM you are just triggering the processing of OB40 that is, IM_DRV, and this is not enough to trigger the message. It is explained quite well in the IM_DRV help, an extract of which is attached. Probably we can externally manipulate the data record for triggering the message but that'll defeat the whole purpose of your test. Regards Attachment IM_DRV.pdf (281 Downloads)
