PCS7 v7.1 SP3. OS Simulation is hiding PH areas

TerminalBuzz Silver Member Joined: 11/4/2011 Last visit: 8/25/2024 Posts: 253 Rating: (53)	Oh, you won't believe PH Areas are hiding only when I select option: Computer properties => Graphic Runtime => Window Attributes => Adapt Picture And I did select it because I work on one project at different computers and not all of them have 22" monitors, and Adapted pictures look fine.. All right, let it be. I'd just never choose it and use slider instead.

So it would be wrong to ask for help were I had not been following the rules at the first steps. So yesterday at home I created new OS Server station (instead of the old one) and didn't compile it untill fully configured. I haven't activated the Adapt picture option and run the OS Simulation – all Area Selection buttons were ok but I didn't see the buttom area of a picture (small monitor), so I activated the Adapt picture option and texts of the Area Selection buttons broke. Deactivated back – ok again. But today at the office I tried to do the same with the current project – nothing changed, the problem remained. So I'm planning to update new OS Server project (pictures, translations) and merge it with my current multiproject.

Just now I've also tried to copy my problematic project from ES (IPC with Windows Server 2003) to another PC (laptop with Windows XP SP3) and run OS Simulation – it's working OK, I see all texts on Area Buttons. Startup language doesn't matter (either english, or russian). At the start texts are hidden (buttons are disabled), and after changing the language in Runtime, texts become visible. I can also activate OS Server's WinCC project on ES (not the simulation) and it works fine then. So problems are just with the Simulation mode.
