I think there is "still" a problem with this... I'm using v8.1 SP1 and it did also not update the text in runtime. What I did: I created a motl and connected a analog driver block to UserAna1. First, I left the "Identifier" field blank. I did a compile and put everything in runtime. The text shown was: "Auxilliary value 1". I then insert a text for the "Identifier" attribute. When I compiled the OS (Change), the value at #value#shortcut was still "81" (empty). I did a full compile with memory reset, also nothing. When I read this thread, I tried to rename the block comment. Finally, the identifier was taken over during a compile change OS. Now, when I change the text, the text is taken over in runtime. It seems the first time you compile the OS, the identifier must not be blank, otherwise, you will never get the new text value unless you change the block comment or something... |
