PCU50.3-C RS232C Part Program Downloading issues "File in not a Archive"

Cougar22 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	My HMIversion is V7.5 SP1 - V07.05.01.00 - 5/6/2008 When I DATA IN the PCU 50.3-C says COM active.... then says " Job terminated with error". Under the log is says "the file is not an archive". See the attached .pdf file. I can DATA OUT with no problems. The PCU 50.3-C in a new version PCU50 with the intergrated com port. Open this File with an ASCII-Editor (Wordpad or so) 3. Check information inside this File. After the Head-Information, you must be can read your Program sendet from PCU. Can you read this Programm ? > I think there is a software problem. Of course, but whitch Software, On PCU ? Notebook ? I think, the Parameter for V24 are not O.K. (Sendig/Received PCU or Sending/Received on Notebook) ( All Parameter must be the same ! ! !) PLease check this.

Select an long File. Can you see the incomming Information from PCU (Viewing in the Notebook) Please selekt File and try it again.

How many wire do you have 3-Wire (Xon Xoff) or 5 Wire (Hardware DTR DRS) Perhaps you lose Datas from Notebook to PCU. ( The received Datas are O.K.on my first look PCU --> Notebook ) Try to send request with 300 baud. Change both Units. (PCU and Notebook) Check if the parameter of both are the same. Have you test with PCIN ? (Siemens-Transfer-Programm)
