PCU50.3 Ghost error 1643(LVM compatibility volume not found on source drive)

windstalker Posts: 3 Rating: (1)	New arrived PCU50.3B-P (6FC5210-0DF33-2AB0).I tried to make an backup in servicecenter, but when i choose the backup destination(local harddisk) and click "next", prompted a dialogue box to tell me ghost failed to start. So i also tried to run ghost32.exe in winxp, it can be initiated, but when i tried to ghost an image, i was informed the error code 1643(LVM compatibility volume not found on source drive). I googled "LVM", it seems like "Logical Volume Manager" under linux. How can i now use the ghost to backup/ restore my data？Please help.

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello.... Have you taken the GHOST image of the PCU50.3B-P with you any copy do you have ??? If you not you need to speak to your nearest Siemens Regional Office for the same getting it. Check it ... Regards, Prakash

windstalker Posts: 3 Rating: (1)	I use a USB stick to store the ghost images, successful. Previously i used a 2.5' portable harddisk, failed. So...i'm glad i don't need to reinstall whole system. Thanks ekalavya.
