PCU50.3 Screen becomes white....

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello Friends, I have problem in 840D with PCU50.3 C. When machine is in running condition suddenly screen becomes white but machine operation goes on. To get back the screen in working condtion power off and required.... I replaced the pcu50.3 powersupply and checked still found the same problem.. Whether It could be problem with PCU 50.3 C / base software ? could you suggest.... I am enclosing the machineversion details. a) NCU Version: 07.02.12 b) HMI Version: 06.04.25.02 c)Base softwareVersion: 08.00.01.00 Ekalavya

(remove the PCU from op15, check the thin cable, is the cable correct) Perhaps no video signal to the monitor. (OP15) Aditional you can put on an aditional monitor on the vga-conector of the pcu50 on backside Anormaly PC-Monitor Work the aditional monitor corectly, when the op15 ist "white" ? We wait for informations.

The screen becomes white and look like frozen. Switching OFF and ON requried every time to get it back normal. > I checked up with connecting an external monitor and checked found the same result. >Checked up for the EMI interfernce seems every thing normal. > Similar identical machinesis present with customer so replaced the OP12 and PCU50 from the working machine to the problematic machine still found the same problem. But the harddisk was not removed. > Put back the OP12 and PCU50 in original condition removed only the harddisk and interchanged found the problem is shifting on the working machine. All the version details of these two machines identical butthe base software is different. a) NCU Version: 07.02.12 b) HMI Version: 06.04.25.02 c) Base Version: 08.00.01.00(problem machine) V08.00.01.01(working machine) Looks the like base software version need to be upgraded? please suggest..... There is a known problem with some version of it on PC627 and Panel PC 677. As the PCU is based on the same hardware as the Box PC 627 I guess this could be the same problem.
