PDM download and upload on Simocode DP

FSalg Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear all. I have PDM V6.0 on PCS7 V6.1 and I've reinstalled all the ES and now downloadand upload from Simocode DP is not working propely. I can see every devices in Process Device Network View, but not in LifeList.According to my costumer they did not have problems with another devices, but with Simocode DP did. When perform a download it looks ok, but when I perform an upload or a compare parameters, is shown empty parameters and an error (3340:4). In the ES I have a CP1613 in configured mode in the PlantBus and a IE General in the TerminalBus. Thanks in advance.

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi, What is the version of Simocode DP? Were you able download to device before? Did you check the following FAQ: SP1 for OM-SIMOCODE-DP V1.1 My advice would be contact the Siemens Tech. Support (since there may be a updated device data file). Regards

FSalg Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	This EShad beenworking before. After format stationand reinstall all software, it have not been working as expected. When I try to download or upload the parameters, the Simocode is in Local mode.

Hi, After installing the PCS7 software you need to import the device data (from "Manage device data"). The device data should be available on a separate CD or on the main DVD "Additional Products". Regards
