Ican orderfollowing ..... 1)PLC DP port 2) Siemens PDM software. If anything else require, please let me know....... regards

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (411)	Dear Eastern, well, I would say it depends. First of all I would think about the CPU with the DP interface you talk about, what type of PLC is it... is it brand new? Secondly I would say it depends how you connect to the PLC. If you use the MPI interface, do you use a CP or a USB Adapter? Lastly, which version of PDM will be used? Personally I would recommend to use an CP and connect directly to the PROFIBUS you are about to use... but this is my personal taste. Best regards J_Bell

Hi
We are using Siemensnew PLC with DP port. On DP port, i will install GSD file for Transmitter.
Which should calibrate throughSiemenssoftwarePDM.
I am using following PDM software...

6ES76583AX060YA5

6ES76583CX062YB5

Still confuse it will work or not. Please clarify the same.
