My Synchronus motor is having a absolute encode. Every time i want to calbrate my encoder, i go to the Calibration option in the Starter/Scout Software (Homing tab in the basic positioner menu) and do it. Is there anyway i can do this without starter/scout software ?? Is it possible ? With regards, nand gate. hii there, I also want to perform absolute value calibration in scout v5.1 for my S120 CU320-2 PN. After taking online, the 'perform absolute value calibration' button is not available. Could anyone help?? Go online Make sure that the axis is switched off set p2507 = 2 and press ENTER p2507 should switch to p2507 = 3 (absolute encoder ajusted) automatically Do not forget to copy RamToRom In case that procedure doesn't work, check: your project is up to date in the drive r899.2 = false your encoder control word p480[x] = r2520[x] r2526.0 = true check the encoder settings and the encoder connection Otherwise I recommend to open a Technical Support request (Hotline).
