permision alarm control

Simply double-click on the alarm control, go to the Toolbar tab, select the button and hit the Properties button. Or you can use the Operationable If Authorised Dynamic Wizard on the Toolbar property of the alarm control. This would only make the toolbar visible if the user logged on has the correct access level assigned.

WinCC uses a simple grant or deny method. So each user is either granted or denied an access level. You then assign these access levels to objects in your picture (such as toolbar buttons [:D] ) to secure objects.

Don't forget to set the script trigger to Tag Trigger and link to @CurrentUser. This will ensure that the toolbar is only displayed when you log on with a user with Access Level 2 granted.

Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	The following creates a user named operator_1 and grants access level 2 Open the User Administrator Create a new user - operator_1 Click on operator_1 Double-clicking on the white circle for access level 2 - Tag Entering The circle will go red Now double-click on the alarm control Go to the Toolbar tab Click on the first entry in the list Hit the Properties button and assign access level "Tag Entering" to this button Test in runtime Hopefully this will do the trick for you. Please also refer to the WinCC manual for details on setting up the security system.
