pg/pc 64 bit problem

Here is alinkto the compatibility table. And there is few notes: STEP 7 is not compatible with the 64-bit version of MS Windows XP Professional. STEP 7 is not compatible with the 64-bit version of MS Windows Vista. You need at least SP2 for the 64-bit version of MS Windows 7. Also, specialcompatibility toolis available from Siemens. Hope it helps. If I misunderstood you, provide more details, please. P.S. I alsways suggest to read installation notes and requirements for chosen software.

If your TIA version is compatible with operating systems and all requirements are met, that means all function (including PG/PC) will work. There is no such idea, that only part of the software is compatible.

Note: In TIA the settings from the "old" setting PG/PC from the Control panel (S7ONLINE etc.) no longer used! The communication interfaces you configure directly in TIA Portal in the projekt tree.
