I´m having a problem when I try to install SimaticNet 2008 6.4 HF11 under a HPProLiant DL380G9 server. Window XP Profesional SP2 and PCS7 V7.0 SP3 is used in my case.

If I go to TaskManager and stop the task s7epatsx.exe, I can then normallycontinue the installation. After installed, if I try to open the tool "Set PG/PC Interface"  , it´s shown a error message saying that it´s already in use. Then, I open the Task Manager and s7epatsx is there. After stopping it I can open the Set PG/PC Interface window. Every time I turn the server on, the task s7epatsx.exe is started and never automatically stopped, only manually (via Task Manager).

I know this behaviour also but I´m Not sure in which WinCC Version it was fixed. (your WinCC version is a few years old )

I would try to install the latest WinCC Update for WinCC V7.0Sp3

Found the solution!

Its actually VM's problem , not the installer's.
I add a line to use version 7 bios in vmx file instead of version's 8.
Downgrading hardware version alone is not working for me.
