Dear Sims, Please have a look in Diagnostic buffer, to find reason why CPU would not startup. Perhaps the following links might help: Which organization blocks do you have to load into the CPU to ensure that the CPU does not go into the 'STOP' status when a remote I/O fails? Which organization blocks do you need for error handling? Best regards, Wizard |

Hello Sims; For this exact purpose Siemens has developped SFC12 "D_ACT_DP". The following link contains a sample program you can use as a basis for your application: What should you pay attention to when operating a DP slave temporarily on a PROFIBUS DP network? Let's hope that this resolves your problem. I would not expect a CPU to fail because of inaccesible DP nodes, not if OB86 has been downloaded to the PLC. If you have other issues, SFC12 will not be a solution. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
