PI setpoint / Mq adjust input

I wonder if someone can advise, is it possible to adjust the SP / Mq on the PI controller, using a ramp function? I wish to slowly increase my setpoint to 65C once I enable the PI control. The PI help does say this can be done, but I am unsure how to. It says I can select a function by the bock number. I don't follow this, can anyone explain Please. regards Gerry

What is the value of the ramp function? - I wish to program the ramp to increase the auto SP from ambient temp ( say 5C) to SP - which is 65C, over 10 minutes 2. The setpoint for automatic operation? - yes SP for auto 3. From what value should the ramp start and how do you plan the slope? - does above at 1. answer this 4. Or the setpoint for manual operation? - later I wish to be able to adjust the manual SP using a function also, probably pulse up and down

At a setpoint increase time of 10 minutes, the difference of 60.0 °C. is reached. At a start setpoint of 5.0 °C the following is calculated: 5.0 °C + (0.1 °C / s * 600 s) = 5.0 °C + 60.0 °C = 65.0 °C. Attachment Setpoint_over_ramp_0BA8.Standard.zip (59 Downloads)
