PID control - Difference between FB1 and FB41

Good morning, everybody

Normally I use FB41 (CONT_C) for PID cotrols on PLCs (both for 300s and 400s).

At the moment I have to modify a program (not made by me - author unknown or better not available) and he used FB1 (PID_CP).

I have two questions:

a) what are the differences between the two functions ?

b) is it possible to find the manual for FB1, because it is not included in Step 7 standard libraries.
