As I know, Standard PID control 5.2 is not working under Win 7. What to use under Win 7 and Step 7 5.5? Thanks.

Hello sakara; The update FAQ for Standard PID could interest you: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/60979038 Service Pack 3 for Standard PID Control V5.2 is available for free download at entry ID 60987273. It can be installed directly over the existing Standard PID Control V5.2. The license for Standard PID Control V5.2 will also remain valid with Service Pack 3. Customers with a valid Software Update Service agreement for Standard PID Control will receive the Service Pack 3 for Standard PID Control Tool V5.2 automatically. Preconditions for the installation: The software can be installed with STEP 7 V5.3 SP2 and higher. What's NEW? With the new versions of Standard PID Control, Windows 7 (32/64Bit) is supported in conjunction with STEP 7 V5.5 SP1. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
