PID Controller in S7-1200 and S7-1500

There are 3 PID controllers available for the SIMATIC controllers S7-1200/S7-1500.

These are included in the TIA Portal as standard.

PID-Temp

• Temperature controller for active heating and cooling with one controller and two actuators

PID_3Step

• Step controller for integrating actuators.

PID_Compact

• Continuous PID controller or pulse controller (PWM).
