It easy, just in SIMATIC Manager use Filer-->Archive and select the project you want to share.You can upload your file here easily selecting "Add attachment" and select you zip file.Note, for users the limit to upload the file is 3M byte. hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 5/26/2023 Posts: 6802 Rating: (1345)	Perhaps you have an HMI or a PC Station in your project.If it is not possible, make a copy of your PID blocks (OB35,OB1,FB41,instance DB,...).Also export your hardware as cfg file.Don't forget thementioned VAT and explanation of your control philosophy.

jimbo1234 Posts: 74 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have uploaded a simplier version of my project in contsin my OB1 OB35 and the DBs. What I wanting to do is to fill a tank to a setpoint using the PID block. The actuator to be controlled is a pump with a varible motor speed and a ultrasonic level sensor is used for the level control. regards Jimbo Attachment Example1.zip (81 Downloads)

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 5/26/2023 Posts: 6802 Rating: (1345)	I have checked your project.I can not see your OB100(or other re-start OBs) to see how COM_RST and MAN_ON signals are changed while operation.That is also possible via an HMI.To operate in auto, I suggest change COM_RST and MAN_ON to FALSE , then use the following STL codes to run the pump: AN DB41.DBX 0.0 // COM_RST AN DB41.DBX 0.1 //MAN_ON FP M 300.0 // an unused memory S Q 0.2 // RUN pupm O DB41.DBX 0.0 O DB41.DBX 0.1 // OR LOW LOW IN LEVEL R Q 0.2 //RESET PUMP

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 5/26/2023 Posts: 6802 Rating: (1345)	This is normal execution of your program and you can select from OB1 or OB3X.This type of execution can be made in OB1. For OB100(or other re-start OBs), I suggest setting COM_RST to TRUE and Man_on that it possible with SET in STL and OR logic of any signal with its negated signal.For the rest of operation , those 2 signals should be reset by operator to enable automatic operation of PID controllers.

jimbo1234 Posts: 74 Rating: (0)	When I add the code you provided for controlling the pump I unable to download to the plc and get an error, so I should set a Bit False in OB100? then input those bits into my OB35? regards
