Hello Sanjay; Welcome to the forum; As our friend IBN-Service pointed out, there are PID instructions in TIA Portal for the S7-1200 CPUs; see the attached screencapture from a S7-1200 presentation manual (the S7-1200 Easy Book). There are many versions of the Micromaster drives (MM420, MM430, MM440) that can handle a motor of 3HP. They are normally selected by the type of application you need to control (continuous orvariabletorque, dynamic braking, type of control functions, etc,,,). Look at Ayman Elotafy's attachment in the following thread for a more detailed presentation: Difference between Micromaster 411, 420, 430 & 440 Here is one manual for a MM420, to give you an idea. You should contact a local Siemens rep who could ask the right questions so you select the correct model for your application. Operating Instructions (Compact): MICROMASTER 420 0,12 kW - 11 kW Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
