What is the frequency of PWM generated by PID_Compact? How can I change it (if it is possible)? Best regards. |

So is there a way to know if output is off/on while using hardware PWM? In the meantime I wrote PWM generator by myself, but this is not a right way, right? |

Hi, Don't worry, I have just now wrote a PWM converter to you. I will post it in a separete tip. See https://www.automation.siemens.com/BR/tf/WW/en/Posts/42960#207881 In this mean time, I consult my colleges in Germany, andthey confirm to us that there is no setup for the PWM "cycle" time. In this context, I presume that the PID compact of the S7-1200 using the LMN output, has asimilar concept as FB42 CONT_S of the S7-300/400. About the Hardware PWM, it makes no sense to try "read back" this output, once this timing is normally faster as the user program. |
