daga Gold Member Joined: 3/18/2009 Last visit: 12/6/2024 Posts: 306 Rating: (94)	It's basically a 1 to 1 cable. Have a look at thisFAQ, point 3 should give you your answer. In themanual of the USB adapter(page 19, section 4.4) you can also read a little about individual pin roles. regards.

ehab_abdelaleem Advanced Member Joined: 9/10/2014 Last visit: 12/21/2023 Posts: 7 Rating: (2)	if you brought two profibus connectors and profibus cable 2 wires and connected the red wire from A at connector 1 to A at connector 2 and the green from B at connector 1 to B at connector 2 you will have mpi cable or you can connect two 9 pin sockets as following pin 3-------3 pin 8 ------8 pin 5-------5gnd
