plc 314 send a simotion d425 piw

mnada Posts: 76 Rating: (0)	estimated I have 2 questions: I need to send from plc 300 words a d425 simotion the block in the 300 serious sfc 65 X_SEND and address this serious simotion block w # 16 # 2?? is that the address to send masterdrive is w # 16 # 100 And simotion receipt piw100 for example I want to use the piw100.2 (ie bit 2 of word) I can I? piw100 "move block" to another word globally defined variable device then turn that word into bits and use this last "convert word to bit" word like (word) sal_conv [0] and use the bits or is there another more practical way? I did it in ladder frame and I do not mistake ...... or piw - move - after --- WORD_TO_BOOL 0-15 bits

The MasterDrive example specifiy a I/O address. When you configure a Master-Slave coupling whith SIMOTION as I-Slave the you can use the I/O address and need no SFC65. You can access the I/O directly via the PLC. When you transfer the data via FC you mus convert the data to access the bit values. If you use the I-Slave coupling you can access the bit's directly with a symbolic I/O access (PI100.1..) Regards Christoph

If a axis allocat a I/O adress you can't write directly to this address, so you must use the function above. Regards Christoph
