Red Alert Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Dear Experts, In my project i've 416-5H with PCS7 8.0 ubdate1 and customer having 4 no of CPU315-2DP with CP343-1 Lean (1cx10) processors. I've to communicate with these PLC's and my PLC (CPU 416-5H) is getting data's from them. Which is the best & easy way to get data's through profinet protocol and give me any example projects if you have it. Kindly help me on this. So urgent. Thanks & Regards, Red Alert

Is these blocks are simple to program for data transfer. Can any provide me the sample program for data transfer between cpu's (400 & 300) for better understanding. Thanks & regards, Red Alert

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello Red Alert, the second link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/29737950 decribes, which blocks are necessarry and how to configure them. TCON is responsable to build up the connection. TSEND / TRCV are responsable for sending/receiving data TDISCON disconnect the connection. Additionally there are 2 data blocks for the information IP address, ports, type of connection etc. Information you also find in the help sites of TIA. It is easy to configure...no problem....

For my case i'm selecting TCP/IP communication in the 3 types which is coming while generating the connection. My doubt is that it's asking partner ethernet port no. I' go through the OC document it saying to use 2000 to 5000. Shall we use any number or else is there any important thing to be consider or noted before giving this numer. On what basis or How we've give this port no. My case i've 4 No's of Partner 300 stations. Kindly help me do this..... Thanks & Regards, Red Alert

But im not able to establish communication. Im getting Busy=1 & Status=7002 in TCON block, This means connection being establishing. I just want to know what are all the necessary things should do in client plc (cp313c with cp 343-1 lean) to establish communication and also should client has to specify connection in netpro in their local plc. Kindly go through this and help me...So critical situation im. Regards, RedAlert

Fafner Silver Member Joined: 3/20/2013 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 676 Rating: (44)	Hey! you always need the partner blocks on the other cpu. e.g. PLC1: TCON; TSEND PLC2: TCON; TRCV If you are using on "client"-side a connection via NetPro then you AG_RCV to receive the data.
