PLC alarms 6005,6091,6094, 9143,

hacm Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hello , We have `crazy` machine with one milion alarms. Can somebody tell me what these alarms mean . They only pops up without any explanation , just number. So is there any plc alarm list ....

Machine is HERMLE UWF 902H Books we have are in german ... so that mean we do not have any book. we bought machine recently ... still not able to pres gren button Looks like machine is custom made for `BOSCH` with 1 thousand safety switches and interlocks Control isSINUMERIC 840 C-M year 1996( what is M standing for?) what else do you wantfrom me to help me out

It must be an early version as later controls were supplied as a generic version capable of set up to all machine types. Documentation in english is here :- https://www.automation.siemens.com/doconweb/content.asp?letter=A&item=&cd=840C_1101_E&scope=all You should have text with your million messages. If the language has been changed from german to english then it is possible there is no english text. The 6000 and 7000 range messages are generated by the machine tool builder and are not part of the Siemens control software.

vki Posts: 63 Rating: (3)	Hi if you are getting only alarm number in english version, you can put your own text. for this you need to acess meldattrib text file from user directory of 840c harddisk.
