PLC always stops working in automatic

hashish Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Naqshapandy Dear All i have a problem with CPU 943b , sometimes during work it goes to stop mode , and i have to reload the program again from Eprom , then reload some data blocks from PG. i bought a new CPU , but problem still happened . Is it hardware fault . I can't fix it .do you have any sugesstions? the status ofistack ws follow · STOZUS = stop via external request for example via programmer stop display· STOANZ = stop display· NEUSTA = pc in cold restart· BATPUF = battery backup okay· ASPNEP = memory sub module is an EPROM· SYNFEH = synchronization error blocks are incorrect · NINEU = cold restart not possible After we reload the program we only have the following in the ISTACK AF = interrupt enable ASPNEP = ASPNEP I have the same problem But my problem The PLC always stops working in automatic This requires us to restart of the PLC and this happens at different times of the day Does not appear on the PC any error messages or guidance for this event If it was possible to explain it and help us to overcome this problem You Many thanks Attachment P3110069.JPG (284 Downloads)

If so, when the PLC goes to stop, take a look at the stacks (I and B stack). This will give you information about reason why the PLC goes into stop. Kind regards, BV

hashish Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thanks to all for helping me Yes, Mr. Hristo As the picture shows power suply is on 'green lights'!!! The problem occurred now for 5 minutes and was re-run the CPU It was then automatic operation of the plant !!!!!!!!!

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 12/10/2024 Posts: 3028 Rating: (1057)	Hello yes, the "power suply is on green lights" as you andUMENCHO quite rightly observed. Your CPU is "on green lights" too though in the picture and yet it does go into Stop every so often, doesn't it? The message I tried to convene is that your power supply does not look like being in the best state, it's supply terminals are badly smoldered and a poor connection could very well explain sporadic CPU stops. It couldalso be that whatever caused the smoldering damage did cause additionaldamage inside the PS that leads to sporadic failures of it. I would certainly tackle the PS as thefirst item on the list unless the I and B Stack yield a smoking gun (and would also check the reliability of the 240V supply to the PS too). It's your Plant though and your call, butwhatever you do, please let us know what you find.
