Hello hashish apart from the advise to check the I and B stack whenyour CPUgoes to Stop, I wonder if you have considered replacing the power supply (judging by the smoldering damage on your picture, it may not be in the best state). |

Hello yes, the "power suply is on green lights" as you andUMENCHO quite rightly observed. Your CPU is "on green lights" too though in the picture and yet it does go into Stop every so often, doesn't it? The message I tried to convene is that your power supply does not look like being in the best state, it's supply terminals are badly smoldered and a poor connection could very well explain sporadic CPU stops. It couldalso be that whatever caused the smoldering damage did cause additionaldamage inside the PS that leads to sporadic failures of it. I would certainly tackle the PS as thefirst item on the list unless the I and B Stack yield a smoking gun (and would also check the reliability of the 240V supply to the PS too). It's your Plant though and your call, butwhatever you do, please let us know what you find. |
