Jure Petrovic Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	What is the default communication protocol between KTP600 and S7-1200? I used some sort of network analyzer and it is surely not profinet. Or it must be somehow wrapped... Thank you.

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 3/24/2025 Posts: 3042 Rating: (1061)	Hello Jure Petrovic you are correct, it is not Profinet, nor is it for example wrapped inside a Profinet I/O frame. It is simply so called S7 communications, which is a Siemens propietary protocol and there's no protocol decoder available for it in Wireshark (not yet anyhow).
