I want to do this project ,can anybody tell this how to procced with this, i have done with hardware config and i have displayed the error mesg when i removed any i/p or output module and i can see in diagnostic buffer that error Analysis of the diagnostic concept of STEP7 and TIA-Portal. Development of an application that includes both, the existing diagnostic features as well as extend-ed features including e.g. SNMP. The objective is to cover both, device and network diagnostic. i. investigate the concept of diagnostic alarm vs. process alarm with S7 ii. how to integrate into STEP7 application (alarm handling, ressources) iii. what status information is provided by S7 (i.e. data block?) and can we use it to check the status by a separate monitoring system? iv. extend the application to enable the PLC to work as a Network Moni-toring System v. -> SNMP to check port statistics of the devices vi. -> check it’s own port statsistics
