PLC changing HMI screens

Hi all,

I have a TP700 comfort connected to an S7-1200. What I need is some way of changing to a specific page when a bit in the PLC is low.
i.e. When the machine starts up, it is not homed so the first job must be to home the machine. That is fine, I can set the startup screen to be the one I want and disable any navigation buttons until the homed condition is met.
However, there are cases where homing can be lost. In this case (i.e. when the bit goes low) I want the screen to go back to the "homing" screen.

I'm almost sure I've done this before but I can't find it anywhere and I can't find exactly what I want on the forums either.

A quick reply would be appreciated as I only have today and tomorrow left on site and this is all that is holding up the sign off on the machine.

When you want to open the screen when the Signal goes to low then you have to check this in the PLC and use the "Controller Job" area pointer.

Hi Paul,

Go to HMI tags select the tag go to property click on events value change and select the screen you want to move.

Note:

The homing bit should be enabled when in home screen.

so whenever the value changes to 0 it comes to home screen when not in home screen...

please be careful you have to set the Acquisition mode to "cyclic continious"  of your Trigger Tag in the HMI tags. So the Trigger should work in every screen.
