plc communication on different projects

Yanto Posts: 54 Rating: (2)	Hi, I have three cpu's 319-3 PN/DP all the same set-up, all have PNIO and CP343-1. They all communicate with a pc which has product information on it and it acts as a shift register, passing and collecting data. To communicate we use AG_SEND - AG_RECV I need 1 plc to acquire current scores from the other two. Do I set them up as unspecified in the connection table in NETPRO forjust 1 plc and use PUT GET, or do I have to set up all three connection tables and use the AG_SEND AG_RECV? If I use either method will it cause timing issues withmy original pc connection, I notice when I insert them into the connection table they use the same input address but different IDs. Will they overwrite each other or does data stay until it's removed. I have several manuals from the site but none are clear on these types of connection. Thanks

It`s enough when you configure a S7 connection in the PLC which collects the datafrom the other two PLCs. Here the PLC which collects the data acts as Client station and the others acts as Server station.The Client stationestablish the S7 connection. In the S7 program of the Client station you have to call the function blocks FB14"GET" and FB15 "PUT". Here you can find a sample program: In the server stations you need DBs where the send and receive data are saved. Best regard Little Holmes
