Rusev Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello! I’m new at SIMATIC S5 programming and I have a question concerning the PLC connection. I have installed Windows XP and STEP 5 v7.23 on a laptop via a virtual machine. I am trying to program S5 90U through 6ES5 734-1BD20. My laptop does not have a RS 232 port, so I connect the cable through a USB/RS 232 converter. When I try to connect with S5 90U in STEP 5, I get a TIME OUT message
