PLC goes to stop and never go back to run

abe01 Posts: 3 Rating: (1)	the biggest problem i have hadhere in brazil , when the supply voltage of 24v goes down for apeakand come back. thePLC goes to stop and never go back to run. thePLC only go back to run when i have restart the PLC with the software TIA10.5 or TIA 11 there are 2 inverters (WEG) in the cabinet where the thePLC is mounted.it only happened when one of the invertors or two are going to overload and pushing a lot of current. V1.1 was updated to V2.0 or 2.1. nothing has changed and the bug goes on! after the prob with the overload was resolved it never happens again - plc goes to stop and never go back to run. the PLC works fine untilnow. it was happened in a plant of TIGRE in Pouso Allegre in Minas Gerais in Brazil. @siemens: any sugestion or idea to resolve this in the future hardware?

A UPS between the AC power feed and the DC power supply is my solution of choice. I also have multiple DC power supplies, but then, I have digital signals and analog signals which are very noise suspectible, so have separate supplies is important. Just bond all the commons properly for your situation so 24V means the same everywhere.

bakerjw Posts: 126 Rating: (18)	As for not returning to run mode. Under PLC properties - General - Startup. Have you set the startup after power on to "Warm restart - Run"?
