PLC -> HMI timesync does not work with timezone.

Time is synchronized every 10 minutes. But changes in timezone is not applied. So the HMI time will be off by the timezone, compared by the PLC time. How can I fix this, so HMI time is exactly like PLC time?

Or maybe I am confusing my mobile panels with the basic panels? This changes the PLC "Module time" as we want. But we need the "Module time" to sync back to the HMI, to get correct timestamps on alarms. But it seems like the HMI time is always UTC time?

Did you look at the internal code of what you copied into your project? What is used as base reference time? The PLC is the reference device. But for your case it is the local time as it exists on the PLC that is used as reference time. In turn that means that the HMI operating system does not need to be configured for its location. All the configuration is done on the PLC. Set the HMI to (UCT + 0). Then have the PLC's local time value be the synchronization reference. This way there is no HMI operating system configuration that stands in your way. Helpful?
