PLC in defective state after trying to download datalog

Hi All,

After trying to download a datalog the PLC went into a defective state:

CPU info: Serious firmware exception
(not relevant for user, system code: 16#00644A4E)
CPU changes from RUN to DEFECTIVE mode

Switching the power off and on put the PLC back into run.

I must have done this 10's of times when I was on site without a problem. However the time it went into defective mode I was working from my office 300 miles away from the PLC.

Does anyone have any ideas why this may have happened?

PLC:6ES7 214-1BE30-0XB0 V2.03 with 2MB MMC

Hi rico100

Do you have the other Diagnostic Buffer entries prior and after the error occured? It may help in tracing n solving the issue.
