Hello Philippe; If I was using Step 7 and a S7-300 or S7-400 CPU, it would be easy to configure andprogram all your possibleProfibus slaves or Profinet IOdevices in some kind of master program, then disable the unnecessary slaves using SFC 12 "D_ACT_DP" for each deployment, adapting it so only the existing slaves are processed by the master; this would eliminate the diagnostic messages of missing slaves/IO devices, SFC 12 works for both Profibus and Profinet networks, and you can use the same function to enable disabled slaves as required in your application (practical to disconnect a failing slave while it is reparied or replaced). See these FAQs (on Step 7)for details: Notes for the use of the system function SFC12 "D_ACT_DP" Enabling a disabled DP slave with SFC 12 "D_ACT_DP" I am not yet completely familiar with TIA Portal V. 13, but the documentation does mention the network function D_ACT_DP, with similar uses over Profinet, so it should be a valid way to proceed: From the SIMATIC PROFINET PROFINET with STEP 7 V13 manual: Call the "D_ACT_DP" instruction to activate and deactivate the IO device as close as possible to the start of the OB 1 cycle. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
