PLC Nodes Falling Off from the Network

Hi There,

System Details:
1. WinCC SCADA 6.2
2. Approximately 26 connections configured on it.
3. CP1613 installed on PC.
4. All the PLCs are connected on Industrial Ethernet.

Problem:
PLC6 (Ref. Diagnose.zip is attached)is falling off from the network at least once in a day (Error code 0x0000 7002)
Few other PLC are throwing errors in the Diagnose file withError code 0xFFDF 410E.

Pleasehelp in identifying the cause of the problem.

I have checked in the WinCC Help and found that 410E - Connection has been aborted can be cause by,

- PLC or CP has been turned off or reset (Which is not the case here)
- PLC not connected to bus or bus system error (PLCs are connected properly)
- Maximum number of permissible connections in ths PLC exceeded (Please explain this as my doubt falls on this, however, my WinCC SCADA is having 64 connection softnet licence)

Will deactivation of "Cyclic management by PLC" will help?
What could be the consequence of deselecting this function?

Hi KD,

I had a very similar trouble time ago: all configuration was good, connection cable and everything was good. I was loosing connection with only one PLC over then network (more than 10 PLC in my network).
I solved with WinCC optimization.

Look log file WinCC_Sys_05...there are a lot of action error there, try to solve them too.
