I wonder though if you connected 24V to Pin 1(you would have connected 0V to Pin 20 since your LED turns on). I've never used the 313C but the manual shows the L+ connection, so could you please check and and confirm this (note that yourworking 16DI 6ES7321-1BH02-0AA0does NOT require L+ on Pin 1). If the above is all ok and the DI still don't work, there is of course always the possibility that the onboard I/O's are faulty so if you have a spare313C please test it. The only other explanation that I have for your problem is that you forced them off (I doubt this is the case though) OR that you configured them as counters channels (which you haven't according to your HWconfig). I have managed to buy another CPU313C, and i am sad to tell you that i am facing the same problem please, i need help

how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Dear Tomy Master, Maybe you can try to remove the DI and AI for the time being and just configured with the CPU313C alone to test out the CPU313C onboard DI/DO. Then add the additional cards one by one. If confirm all wirings are correct with trying the above and still having the same problem with the new CPU313C and maybe you need to contact the support request as what Ammy suggested. with regards, how come

For me it seems that the problem is what Fritz already said - the voltage supply for the module. The LED state turned on doesn't always mean the input state in log1 for the program... I suggest to remove the frontconnector from the module and use the pins directly. When I test something in office I don't use connectors for modules, but a wires with asmall bondage at their ends which allows me to put them directly on the module pins. If you use the DI16/DO16 part of a CPU313C, connect 24VDC power supply at first (1)and last (20)pin according to drawing on the module cover and then +24V to some input pin. The appropriate LED should light on and also the input should have the log1 state in the process image. Regards Sydney
