PLC S7_300 don't agree another memory card

When I want to insert another memory card from other CPU to this CPU 315 but CPU don't agree other MMC. I want to know why and how to I Can this CPU 315 agree any MMC Can you helf me this problem ? vipz Gold Member Joined: 9/2/2012 Last visit: 6/15/2023 Posts: 711 Rating: (30)	Hai, follow this step if stop led blinking--( resetting procedure of used mmc using cpu of different kind) 1. power on 2. keep mode selector at MRES position as long as stop led is stable(may take 8-10second) 3.once it is stable,put mode selector switch at stop and immediately put back to mres. 4. then stop led will blink with high speed 5.release the mode selector switch 6.aftr this, stop led will be stable, =>mmc got reseted. now download original program.

Thanks Ke Hello, May be the configuration on the other MMC doesn't match that of your PLC. Please try to download the correct HW config and feedback us. Tranhieu0983 Your MMC has problem with another people when they sold to you. You should format MMC to default with their image. If the MMC was formatted, you can not restore it with a guranteed or legalway to its factory status. How do you format or reset an MMC (Micro Memory Card) for SIMATIC S7-300 CPUs? Hope this helps.

Thats why we have special MMC card supplied by Siemens. Else with a normal memory card you can write the program in it easily. I am not saying its not at all possible. As for as Siemens guys, its not possible for the users...
