eng.ahmedsaid Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I have a problem with my m/c with Siemens PLC controller. when the power is off and ON again the m/c doesn't work. I have to download the program again then the m/c work the problem is that the plc have the program.if I make Upload and Download again it works PLC S7 300 Cpu : 315 2DP

If this battery is empty, the S7-CPU will lose the program when it is switched of. There is a acticle number on S7-PLC, starting with 6SE7315 (e.g. 6ES7315-2AF00-0AB0); can you tell us this complete number? With this number we can check, if your S7-CPU has a battery.

Which PLC 300 you use exactly (Ordernumber) with which FW Version? Which Step7 Version? Have you compare after Power Off/On if all blocks Available on the PLC which are in the project? (go online to the PLC in Simatic manager and compare the Online Block folder with the offline block folder) Regards Christoph

Sachinpatke Silver Member Joined: 12/9/2010 Last visit: 10/8/2022 Posts: 623 Rating: (74)	Hi Ahmed, If diagnostic buffer doesn’t show any fault and upload is possible, then there is problem with logic. In PLC logic non retentive memory[M]/data blocks may have been used. When power is cut off, the non-retentive memory contents get vanished. See the hardware configuration, make required data retentive then download. Please discuss with program developer for the same if it is developed by others.When calling FB/FC, avoid applying logic to EN input.
