PLC SIM 5.4 has expired - Does warrant crashing it?

My S7 PLC-SIM V5.4 + SP8 is also crashing immediately upon start after updating to TIA v14. Selecting the repair option and rebooting has not helped yet. I am running TIA v14 and also have PLCSIM v14 SP1 installed. TIA shows only PLCSim v14 as installed software. Both when opening PLC SIM 5.4 on its own and from TIA it crashes immediately. I am considering uninstalling PLC v14 as I don't use it and hope that afterwards v5.4 will work again. Any other advice would be much appreciated! Edit: After checking ALM it seems that my trial license for PLC SIM 5.4 has expired. Does this warrant it crashing immediately and if so, is there a means of attaining this "old" license when the license for V14 was purchased? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi AutoGen_4494819 reinstall/repair S7 PLC-SIM V5.4 + SP8 and try. I think its helpfull. |

Got a new version for 5.4 (SP7) and it's no longer crashing. Thanks for the tip, I have heard that reparation should usually work but it did not for me :D |
