Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi, You may use PLCSIM also to check the In- and Outputs of the program, you can make a script in VB or C++ and take care of the reactions of the written program. So if you start a conveyor, then you can let the inpu to detect some things make depending on the output. Also you can check on different errors whats happening with your program, for example yo can check if a slave is going of the profibus what happens then. [;)]

I think when you mentioned about using VBscripts in PLCSIM you meant adding "S7ProSim COM Object" as reference to your project library, didn't you? I could not find S7ProSim COM Object in available references. I am having S7-PLCSIM 5.3 installed. Do you need to separately order the COM object? May be Late can explain. Thank you guys. --Joey.

SP1 ActiveX Controland S7ProSim V5.3 incl. SP1 COM Object[;)] I have seen also some example of this software, if you want to see it, let it me know and then i search to it.. [8)]

I want to check how much worth it is to do scripting in PROSIM or just adding a Simulation routine in Step7 would do the job more quickly. And thanks for the manuals though I had diigged them later [:D].
