Hi,

if you are looking for a possibility without configuration Network view, I can give you the recommendation to use Open User Communication. With instruction TCON you can establish a programmend connection. Then use TSEND/TRECV.

To use TSEND/TRECV, I have to set parameters, don't I? I need to know other PLC's IP Address.

I imagine like that;

there may be a data block is open to outside connection. (Like mobile application access) Other PLC can take the bit on exact location. if it is possible, I need something like put&get functions.

Can I use get function without adding other plc in network view window?

Just I'll tell them my PLC's IP Address and datablock addresses and they read the data.

is it possible?

Hi,

yes you can use S7-Communication with PUT/GET instruction but then you have to project conection with unspecified partner and in your partner PLC you don´t have to do anythin.

There is an example with put / get:

 I have another CPU 1212C DC/DC/DC and I'm trying to get data from CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC.

Like you said I choose the partner unkown. But now I'm getting that error:

Until now everything is ok thx to you. if all PLCs are siemens, they can communicate with s7 communication put&get.

if the other PLC is not siemens and demands reading from our siemens PLC, can they read our data block bits?
