Delphoe Posts: 120 Rating: (1)	Hi, Pro I have just installed PCS7 V7.0 on my Laptop. Everything seems to be ok during installing process. However, When I compile the PLC, the PLC always at "not available", although I already open the PLCSIM. I don't know how to deal with this problem because this Program runs well when I install it on my PC. Please, helps me. Thanks in advance.

CBo Gold Member Joined: 4/5/2006 Last visit: 4/23/2025 Posts: 917 Rating: (63)	Hi Delphoe , not to understand your trouble...do you have PLCCIM icon available in Simatic Manager? if no, just install it from PCS7 DVD installation bwrowse it to find Plcsim folder and runt installation setup. if you have PLCSIM icon available, just remeber you have to use "PC internal local" connection in Simatic Net Console (in this way when opening plcsim automatically will be changed connection to use it). The other thing is the only connection available for plccim are MPI and Ethernet, so compile OS selecting connection MPI or Ethernet to use WinCC. Regards

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Delphoe, I would suggest not using the "Compile and download wizard" at first. Instead proceed as follows: 1. Open your multiproject in Simatic Manager. 2. Open PLCSIM. 3. You should see a dialog box with "Select CPU access node". Click on OK and select the CPU access node as MPI or Profibus or Ethernet. When you do this the PG/PC interface should automatically change to PLCSIM (MPI) or PLCSIM (Profibus) or PLCSIM (ISO). You can see this at the bottom of the screen. 4. Open HW config and download to PLC. 5. Open CFC charts and download to PLC. Regards

Delphoe Posts: 120 Rating: (1)	Hi, Phantom75 You might not understand my trouble correctly. I meet the trouble with how to make PLCSIM available when I'm working with my project. This is because I need PLCSIM available in order to access to the computer in order to simulate my project. Further, normally in Simatic Shell we have a network adapter for a computer in order to carry out the connection between the PLCSIM with computer. However, after I install PCS7.0 SP1, there is no network adapter on my computer. In addtion, when I log in configuration console, at S7Online area, I can't change the simulation mode to PC internal local. I think that might be the reason for my trouble. However, I still can't find the solution for this trouble. Please, troubleshooting this matter for me. Thanks in advanced. Regards. Attachment untitled.JPG (148 Downloads)

Which manual did you read that you need to adjust the settings posted in your screenshot for accessing PLCSIM?And what has Simatic Shell got to do with PLCSIM? I suggest a little RTFM! The only thing I see in your screenshot is the SR has a red X and this is probably because the network adapter is disabled/not installed properly. Please check. Also, open Simatic Manager, go to Options then PG/PC interface and see if you have various PLCSIM adapters like PLCSIM(ISO), PLCSIM(MPI) etc. Regards
