Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 2/16/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (311)	Hi, When the CPU is not in STEP7 then you need a HSP, when the version of your STEP7 is V5.2 or higher then you may import new S7 equipment in the hardware configuration. See the url: Hardware Support Packages (HSPs - 02/2008) It could be that your STEP7 version is to old, read the minimal version in the pdf that is also under the same url. Only PROFIBUS DP CPUs have a GSD-file when they have to be used as a PROIBUS DP Slave.
