ryan03 Experienced Member Joined: 11/9/2009 Last visit: 9/4/2024 Posts: 41 Rating: (0)	can any body help me about floating point i make a program in statementlist i load a value of 1.000000e+000 and when i simulate it i see in in decimal is 1065353216 but i check in internet it is not same can any body explaine to me how its happend

I am sure this is the solution to your problem and avoid thinking about things which is done automatically by machine. formula: floating point number = (1.mantissa)* (2^(exponent-127)) //note (1.mantissa) in the case of mantissa =2^-1 so result will be (1.5) Attachment solution.JPG (75 Downloads)
